About

From Brasília, Brazil. At home everywhere.

I am a journalist, researcher, and digital strategist with 15+ years of international experience spanning newsrooms, rural fieldwork, and development projects across the Global South.

The Journey

My career began in Brasília and Quito, where I cut my teeth on investigative reporting and news production. Driven by a need to understand the systemic forces behind communication and social transformation, specially in the rural areas, I moved to Geneva for a Master’s in Development Studies, which led to a doctorate research project.

The Fieldwork

I’ve spent years conducting ethnographic research in remote South African communities, studying traditional agriculture and emerging markets. Currently, I am distilling years of field notes from rural Madagascar, and South Africa, into a manuscript.

The Digital Shift

Based in Porto since 2022, I’ve translated my storytelling roots into the digital space. I founded a tourism startup specializing in expeditions to Africa, building the entire digital infrastructure myself, from SEO strategy to CMS management.

What I bring to the table

I bridge the gap between deep-dive research and digital execution. Whether I am designing a user-centered website or writing a long-form feature, I know how to tell stories that resonate across platforms, cultures, and formats.
